Charging is an important step in using rechargeable batteries. Proper charging is good for extending battery life, while improper charging will have a great impact on battery life. Lithium batteries are basically packaged separately according to each product, not common to each other, so each product also provides its own charging equipment, not common to each other, as long as it is used in accordance with their own instructions.
Fast charging vs. slow charging
For example, one No. 5 nickel-metal hydride battery has a capacity of 1200mAH, while another has 1600mAH. The capacity of a battery is called 1C. When charging, when the charging current is less than 0.1C, it is called trickle charging. Trickle charging can fully charge the battery without harming battery life, but it takes too long to use trickle charging, so it is rarely used alone, but in combination with other charging methods.
When the charging current is between 0.1C and 0.2C, it is called slow charging. The charging current is greater than 0.2C, and less than 0.8C is fast charging. When the charging current is greater than 0.8C, it is called ultra-high-speed charging.
However, 1C is a logical concept rather than an absolute value, so the fast charge and slow charge converted according to 1C are also a relative value, just as 200mAH charging current is slow charge for a 1200mAH battery, and fast charge for a 700mAH battery.
